8 Beauty Secrets You'll Never Forget
After experimenting with many tips on clothing and makeup, it is likely that you may still be on the look out for those ideal secrets that heighten your looks. In fact, there is no end to the plethora of beauty secrets in the form of advice about beauty products and tips for good looks.
Remember good health promotes beauty. Also, remember that your eyes, face and hair as well as your neck, chest, hands and feet need good care. Regular physical exercise along with adequate rest, particularly good quality sleep for at least six hours per night is essential. Nothing destroys your looks as too much make up. Keep it to the barest minimum. Your make up should serve two purposes: one, to camouflage your blemishes; and, two, to enhance your beauty. In addition, the following advice will help.
#1. Watch your weight.
Overweight leading to obesity is the number one enemy of beauty. As your weight increases, your beauty diminishes. Fat vanquishes beauty. Most people are of aware of this, but in practice, they do little to arrest their weight increase, which is a result of their modern lifestyle.
#2. Eat the right food.
Most people may not realize that the food they eat day in day out affects their looks. Some foods may affect your skin texture and appearance. Eliminate foods that are high in fat and grease and avoid processed foods. Natural foods and foods containing antioxidants are good for your skin.
#3. Protect your body from environmental pollutants
Again, with the pollutants in the environment being capable of affecting your looks, you have to protect yourself from them.
#4. Drink lots of water
The recommendation is to drink at least 8 to 10 glasses of water per day. Water flushes out toxins from the body, making elimination easier. It also prevents dehydration of the skin.
#5. Wear sunscreen
While exposure to sunlight for about 15 minutes is good, as the body can get its requirement of Vitamin D, too much exposure to the UV rays A and B in the sunlight is quite harmful for the skin. It is essential for you to wear sunscreen (SPF 15 at least), preferably 30 minutes before going out. As its effect may not last for more than a couple of hours, it may be necessary to re-apply the sunscreen as often as necessary. Remember, sunscreen is necessary even in winter. Do not forget to use a good moisturizer to go with the sunscreen.
#6. Exfoliate properly and regularly
Promoting the shedding of dry and dead cells from your skin is important for your skin regeneration. In order to do this, use a good exfoliant. Remember, too much of exfoliation may cause skin irritation or inflammation. Regular and proper exfoliation makes your skin smooth and wrinkle-free.
#7. Choose a suitable facial
Depending upon your skin type, choose a good facial that suits you. Your face is the index of your beauty. Take good care of it. But do not neglect your chest, neck, hands and feet. Nothing is more unseemly than when these look much older than your face.
#8. Manicure, pedicure and condition your hair, regularly
Make your hair as attractive as possible. Cleanse it and keep it properly conditioned and in good health. Also, take proper care of fingers, toes and nails.
