If you wish to succeed in life and get whatever you want out of it then you must give life your all, this means that you should go way out and put 101% into whatever it is that you do.

All successful people put everything they have and give their all in whatever they do – this is precisely how they become successful. Success will never just come to you, it is something that you have to strive towards and earn. While some are content to just go about there lives doing the best they can, others rush headlong into whatever it is they are striving towards and give it their all. Of these two different types of people, who do you suspect will achieve the most success?

Are you giving 101%?

In order to determine if you are giving your best, then it is important to know what it is you want and what it is you are hoping to achieve. Once you have determined this you can then start to set goals to reach plans and achieve the goals you have set out for yourself.

Setting goals

To achieve your goals and success in life it all basically boils down to setting out what you want and reaching those achievements by making sure you follow what you have outlined for yourself. Start with the goals that you should accomplish first, your short-term goals, then go onto mid term goals and finally the long-term goals.

You should also outline daily goals, these are goals and objectives which are related to your longer term goals but which you can make use of every single day. Whether you reach these goals should tell you if you are putting enough time and energy into the project and if not then you are not working towards 101% of your capability.

For instance if your goal in life is to gain more confidence and come across to others as more confident person then you need to determine what you need to change about yourself and the way you are going to do this. You could make one of your daily goals that you are going to go all out and talk with someone or join in a conversation when usually you would just take a back seat and allow others to take centre stage.

If your goals are aimed more towards bettering your career not your person then you need to determine what it is you are aiming towards and the steps you can take to help you get there more easily. Set out a plan to learn a new skill or technique again with short-term goals, mid term goals and long term goals. Write down everything you need to equip yourself with in order to learn your new skill and go all out towards achieving it. You must get out there and put an effort forth, sitting back and relaxing does not help you achieve your best or give your 101%.

Giving 101% and knowing when you are giving it and are lacking in motivation is the key to success, nobody in this world gets anything handed to them on a plate; we have to work hard towards achieving it and then bask in the satisfaction of knowing that we gave it our all.
