While we all like to look glamorous and look like a million dollars when we go out for a night on the town, sometimes we just don't have the money to do so. Going for your hair done, attending the beauty shop for a facial or having your makeup professionally done can end up costing hundreds of bucks. However there are many ways that you can look a million bucks right from the comfort of your own home and while savings yourself oodles of money.

Did you know that there are many household products that can be used and are able to double as beauty products? One excellent way of freshening up after a hard nights partying is to soak a cotton ball in a small cup of cold milk and then apply this to your eyes for around 5 minutes. This will bring them back to life, relieve the soreness felt around them, get rid of the grittiness and relieve the redness.

Glamorous finds in your pantry

Another firm household favorites that you are able to use and that can save you a fortune over the year is tomato paste. This can be used to clear clogged pores and will freshen up the skin. If you have oatmeal then this can be used as a facial mask, however if you are known to have sensitive skin and suffer from allergies then you should just do a test area first before applying it freely all over the skin. Freshly squeezed lemon juice also works as a great astringent for cleaning the skin. All of these household products can be used to save you money when compare to going to a beauty shop for treatment or even when purchasing skin products, which often come with for a high price.

Another firm favorite that the majority of households have in and which if not can be bought cheaply is Vaseline. Vaseline is a very versatile product and can be used to soften and cleanse the skin, act as a moisturizer, used to gel your hair and can even be used to bring the sparkle back to dull looking shoes. Vaseline can also be used as lip gloss and if you want a less greasy option then go for the baby Vaseline which is now sold in many drugstores.

Smell nice too!

If you want to smell nice without having to pay out top dollar for perfume then a cheap and easy way to do this is to visit one of the big department stores. All department stores will offer free samples, simply go into one of them and take what is offered, you are then able to use them when you have that special night out. You can also sometimes get away with this too when it comes to makeup, many large department stores that have cosmetic samples will give you free samples. Although these won't last forever they can be used for that special night out.

Another way to get cheaper products is to buy the stores own brand, many stores have their own brand and more often than not these are half price and are just the name brand product repackaged with the store's label!
