Grief itself is natural response that does not require medical treatment. You might be find out some causes and symptoms behind grief such as death of loved one, disable from severe accident, divorce and so on. Your experience of grief is likely to be different from another person's. Grief is express physically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually and grief will subside over time. However, the grieving process does not happen in a step by step. Your feelings are unique. Each person handles emotions and feelings differently. Find the way to deal with your emotions that fits you. So how to manage one's grief also is depend on person to person.

You diagnose yourself to manage your feelings of grief but it also depends on person to person. First, you should identify your feelings. Sometimes after a loss, it is hard to figure out exactly what you are feelings. You may have several feelings at the same time or conflicting figures such as sadness and relief. Writing is a good way to identify what you are feelings. Secondly, you accept your feelings. You should talk with people about how you are feeling. Resist the urge to be quite around or avoid people. If you are having trouble talking about your feelings with family members and friends, you will join bereavement support group as early as possible. You should express your emotions. You may feel that this is a sign of weakness. However, if you are afraid that you might harm yourself, talk with someone you trust, your health professional about your concerns.

You should be patient and kind of yourself. Thirdly, you should handle difficult feelings. Each person handles emotion differently. You should know how to deal with some of most common feelings during the grieving process such as dealing with worry and anxiety, getting past feeling guilty, handling feelings of insecurity, handling oversensitive, handling sadness and yearning, overcoming spiritual turmoil, overcoming frustration and anger and so on. Fourthly, you should test your knowledge. A good way to deal with your feelings of emotional distress related to grief is to express your emotions, talk with other people about how you feel, and be patient kind to yourself.
